3. Where did you last study before coming to Dawson?

Before coming to Dawson, I received my high school diploma from Laurenhill Academy.

4. What program are you currently enrolled in?

I am currently enrolled in Health Science. It is my second year, last semester.

5. What are your plans after completing you DEC?

I plan to study medicine, either after college or after completing an undergraduate degree.

6. What is your favourite subject?

My favourite subjects are Physics, Math (Calculus) and Biology.

7. What is your favourite past-time/hobby/sport?

My favorite past-time/hobbies are swimming, biking and playing basketball & cricket.

8. Who do you most admire and Why?

The person I admire the most is my father because as an immigrant from Pakistan, he struggled through a lot of heart-ships and challenges. He left his life in Pakistan so that his family can have a better life living in a more developed country, which I truly appreciate.

9. Honestly, why did you select this course?

I selected this course because I have an interest in computers and I would love to learn the basics of creating a website. I also took an Intro to Computer class last year, which I found to be fun and interesting.

10. Describe two different learning activities that you find most effective.

I find studying in groups to be very effective because whenever someone does not understand something, the whole group is there to help and do their best to aide their group members. Also, re-writing notes helps me remember things much faster and it sticks in my head for a longer duration (this is the strategy I use for my Biology class).
